Terms of Service

By using Lingo you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

Creating an account or using Lingo means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing and credits

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle.
• Usage-based credits are consumed as you use translation, transcription, and voice features.
• Unused credits do not roll over unless your plan explicitly allows it.

4. AI limitations and translation disclaimer

Lingo uses machine translation and speech recognition. Output may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Do not rely on Lingo alone for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. You are responsible for verifying critical content with a qualified human interpreter.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Lingo to:

• Break the law or infringe rights of others.
• Record participants without their consent where required by law.
• Reverse engineer the service, or resell it without written permission.
• Send content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Lingo a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. Lingo retains all rights in its software, models, and brand.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Refunds

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in your plan.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
